Hashkama: God’s sieve

God is panning for the silver and the gold.  It is not a time for us to fear but to rejoice that we are going to suffer for the Kingdom.  God shaking all things will not be comfortable but He is going to do something right before our very eyes.  There is so much that is fake in the Church, false teachers and false teaching, fake spirituality, fake unity, fake-healers and fake-healing, fake moves of the Holy Spirit, fake new births, and so forth.  You find them all and more besides, in almost every nation on earth where Christ has been preached.  Counterfeit Christianity is mainstream now.  Jesus cleaned out the money-changers and rip-off merchants from the Temple precincts, and He is going to clean out His Body on earth of all the corruption that has crept in.  The world is moulding the Church into its own image and likeness, and many church leaders are complying.  It has become unity at any cost; mostly the cost is that truth is no longer acceptable or palatable in our pulpits, our faith, our writing, or in our thought-life.

Christians should come out of the apostate churches, and the fake Christianity; and parents would be well advised to remove their children from the Chalke Oasis School Academy.  The Lord is going to shake the Church, so that the wood, hay and stubble falls through the sieve and only the silver and the gold remains.  The gold and silver will remain.  The gold and the silver belong to God.  The gold and the silver will pass through the fires of this world.  The wood, hay, and stubble will burn in the fire of God’s judgement.  The foundations of British life are under attack, including democracy, freedoms of all kinds, the Monarchy, the Church of England which having left its first love has gone into all kinds of trajectories and is in self-destruct apostate mode.  Even the BBC which started its life by Christian hands, and was a beacon of light in the broadcasting world, has become degenerate as leaders and staff dance around the Wokem-pole each day, chanting the gunge of their deity.  Being British is a sin, so is being white skinned.  Sex and sexuality and, what is a human anyway? is in question.  We have left the God of Creation and His word for a world of utter confusion and chaos.

Western nations that were once considered “Christian” nations would at least make the pretence of protecting Christians that were being persecuted in other lands.  That is not happening today.  The Western nations have become largely submissive to those nations that do not tolerate Christianity, and are succumbing to their leaders, gods, and their pagan and secular-humanistic ways.  There are many enemies, and the satanic religion of Marxism is just one.  Its goal has always been to replace Judeo-Christian civilization by any means.  Christians worldwide will not be safe from persecution.

The Covid passport is a back-door introduction of the ID Card that authorities have tried to bring in since the Blair days.  Legislation is under consideration to restrict the movement of the over 70’s.  All of a sudden there is great concern about abuse in our schools, colleges, universities, and homes.  All good concerns that will be put to evil use.  Soon every inch of our lives will be under scrutiny by the authorities.  This is Babylon.

Unity at the price of Truth

Very recently, an author who has been an outspoken critic of political correctness, told of how she had agreed to remove dialogue from her forthcoming book after being told it was ‘othering’ — something one academic has defined as ‘treating people from another group as less human than one’s own group’.  Over the years, the desensitization of the public to the things God hates has taken place.  To a large extent this has been absorbed by the church also, so that an apostate church is on the increase.  The church is being conformed to this world, because it has not been transformed by the renewing of the mind.  Therefore, the church has failed, and is failing to be able to test and approve what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2).   Censorship, Wokeness, and the Cancel Culture are affecting teaching and writing in the Christian scene.  One writer was recently dropped or permanently banned by a Christian magazine, after submitting an article about the Meghan Markle and Prince Harry interview with Oprah.  He was asked to write the article.  The editor approved it, but then changed his mind and threw the writer under the bus.  He is not the first writer to experience that, and will not be the last.  Fear of others comes before the fear of the Lord.  Truth is being closed down – even in some Christian magazines and organizations.  Friends leave you and cease communicating with you unless you repent and walk in the ways of the world.  By speaking the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), you become not only an embarrassment, but an enemy.  The apostle Paul experienced this in his day – “So have I become your enemy by telling you the truth?” (Galatians 4:16).  This kind of unity is not worth its salt.  In keeping unity at the expense of truth you have the unity of the flesh but not of the Spirit.  You have become worldly, and you do the very opposite to what Scripture teaches (Galatians 5:24); you put the Spirit to death (quench the Spirit – 1 Thessalonians 5:19)) and live by the flesh.  The flesh profits nothing, but the Spirit gives life (John 6:63; 2 Corinthians 3:6).  By living in the flesh, we have the dead leading the dead, the blind leading the blind and a pit is waiting to receive you (Matthew 15:14).  False theology is being promoted by “progressives” who are leading an increasing number of pastors and other Christian leaders into apostasy.  Scott Lively writes: One of the most recent, perhaps their biggest American convert [to false theology Ed.] ever, is J D Greear, president of the Southern Baptist Convention.  In a recent message, Greear “defended a former staff member who said that while he was on his personal pastoral staff and ‘very active’ in his church for many years, he secretly looked at gay porn and hooked up on gay dating sites … saying that he (Greear) needs to ‘feel his pain’ and ‘learn to grapple with his questions from his point of view.’” More alarmingly, “Greear has insisted that the Scriptures only ‘whisper’ about homosexuality while addresses other sins – such as greed or boasting – in a much greater way.  He’s also called on Christians to stand up for LGBTQ rights.”  Christian author Max Lucado made a similar detour from the faith. There has been a steady increase in these progressive conversions for years now.  The approaching shaking will not be at all comfortable for anyone, but it will remove the dross from the silver and gold.

The way I see it

Pondering on the political scene, all might not be what it appears to be in the USA.  We are living in strange times; a time when humans worldwide are being constrained in body, mind, and soul.  It is a time when lying and deceiving are fast becoming the new ‘truths’ to live by.  All the rhetoric about impeaching Trump has died away.  One wonders if Trump is just the other side of the same coin; a coin that is currency to develop the one world empire by lies and deception; attributes that are greatly admired today.  Trump aside, we now have Biden in office.  Let me make it clear, this is not prophesy, it is my thinking and I might be wrong in my conclusions; because of that I have hesitated to share it – I might simply be showing my ignorance.  If there is truth it is from God; if it is error it is from me.  The way I see it, there is a reason for Joe Biden being put forward as President, but the reason is not what a candidate would normally be chosen for.  His health, or lack of it is a clue.  Biden is in place for a short season, and the reason for that, I suspect, is that he will become incapacitated and will have to step aside.  As you would expect, the Vice President will take over, and a woman will be Commander-in-Chief.  As I see it, that was the plan from the beginning.  The idea being that Biden had the better chance of election, so he was the candidate put forward.  Having been elected and after serving for a short time, he will have completed his role.  The person they really want as President, an unregenerate woman, will then take on the position and role of President.  It was a cunning plan and is working out just the way the power behind the Presidency wants it to.  Kamala Harris or possibly some other woman, will become the new President, and this in the near future.  The ascendancy of woman that is taking place around the globe, is a move of Satan, not God, though God is allowing it.  Satan is using the woman, just as he did in the Garden of Eden.  God created Eve as a help or “power equal to” Adam.  Neither of them had the ascendency.  For a time, worldly wisdom will have the ascendency over Godly wisdom, and the knowledge that comes from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil will lead to catastrophe.

It is time to become Noah-like.  Warn people that this world is coming to an end, but there is good news.  God is going to create new heavens and a new earth wherein dwells righteousness.  One enters the Kingdom that will never end through repenting and believing in Jesus Christ.  Those that endure in the faith until the end will be saved.  God is faithful and His word is true.

I apologise to readers for any lack of clarity.  The week before Christmas I had a bad turn of health that has continued.  Some days I feel a little better than others.  Christmas morning, I was ambulanced into hospital for checks.  They didn’t come up with anything conclusive and no diagnosis was made.  The medic wanted me to have further tests.  Three months later I am still waiting for those tests to be set up.  It seems you can be left to die of anything these days, just as long as it is not Covid.  I explain what happened by saying, the event changed me from being an old man, into being an old, old man.  Sometimes the words don’t come immediately to mind.  Whether I will live to write again I don’t know.  It is in God’s hands.

“Therefore, since you have been raised with Christ, strive for the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.  Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things” (Colossians 3:2)
