All about the story
Saltshakers players – our newly-formed (very) amateur dramatic society – proudly introduce their first radio plays
THE LOVE TREE – a tale of love found in strange places in sleepy suburbia.
CRUEY’S COUSIN – a tale of a two-faced lady … and her mild-mannered nemesis.
MERCY – a tale of a politician, a migrant … and a thug!
BIG JIM’S DAUGHTER – a tale of a pie and mash shop and the family who work there – a reworking of the Prodigal Son.
, SORRY NOW – a tale of six people stuck in a lift.
For us it is ‘all about the story’, so forget our questionable production values but soak in our enthusiasm and the fact that every story has a Christian ethos and many of them are based on parables but set in the modern day.
Really enjoyed this whodunit with a heart!
Thanks Lynda 🙂
Wow, really hit home. Brilliantly written drama with a serious message for us all! Well done Steve & well done to your team that delivered this. I look forward to the next one.
Wow, thanks for that, Margaret – so encouraging!
I enjoyed the Big Jim story. The story was absorbing – helped by the sound effects and pace. Characters were intriguing and I loved the ending!
