(Hebrews 13:17) James sheds further light on this inevitable reckoning: “Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness.” (James 3:1) In short, while obedience and submission to church leaders is commanded, leadership accountability is inescapable – if not in this life then certainly before God.”
