Is the Church what we think it is?

We live in a world of forms, of appearances, of gestures, of image, of identity. It manifests itself as fashion, public relations, pageantry, worthiness, ‘virtue signalling’ and so on. This is the ‘kingdom of the world’ and we are not called to judge it, but rather help lost souls to escape from it into the Kingdom of God.
