Hashkama [i]: The Way I see it

Everything is to be tested against Scripture.  There is only one Way and that is God’s Way.  Jesus came to show us the Way to the Father, and that it is through Him.  The early believers in the book of Acts were described as followers of the Way.  It was a strikingly different way to that of the world; and the rulers and people of the time noticed that it was different from the way that they lived and believed.  I don’t know that all who think of themselves as Christians walk the walk or talk the talk of the Way of those first disciples of Jesus.  Jesus’ words to Peter, “Do you love (agape) me?” resonate in today’s world.  Do we really love (agape) Jesus?  If we do, we will love those that He loves, that is how we know that we are His disciples, because we have love, one for another (John 13:35).  That is the Way of Jesus.  In 1 Peter 4:8, the apostle explains further.  Peter said: “More than anything, keep loving each other actively; because love covers many sins.” It is sometimes hardly noticeable that the church is any different from the world.  The talk doesn’t match up to the walk; neither does it match up to the Word.  It is similarly so with the “walk.”

However, the Church cannot and should not be blamed for the direction the world has taken today.  Attitudes and events point to the coming of the Lord.  The way I see it is that people such as Klaus Schwab of WEF are forerunners to the Antichrist, just as John the Baptist was forerunner to the appearing of Jesus Christ.  Schwab and others are preparing the way for the revealing of Antichrist.  Life on earth is taking a turn for the worse, and the way ahead will not be a bed of roses for anyone.

A brief look at Britain

Britain’s Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, is a disciple of WEF and is therefore in the wrong way.  The way that he has chosen could be a way that is taking the nation away from God.  The way I see it, God has allowed this man his place in government to open our eyes.  The word “Sunak” means “Dog.”  In Scripture a dog was an unclean animal.  Terms such as “dog,” “dog’s head,” “dead dog,” were used as terms of reproach or of humiliation (1 Samuel 24:14; 2 Samuel 3:8; 9:8; 16:9).  I am not pointing to or attacking Rishi Sunak as a person.  I am asking, is this how God sees Britain today?  Are we in Britain in contempt of God?  The apostle Paul referred to false apostles as “dogs” (Philippians 3:2); and those who are shut out of the Kingdom of Heaven are also designated as “dogs.”  Depending on where you look, “sunak” also refers to ‘sun worship’, and to ‘wisdom’; perhaps in this case it is the wisdom of fools.  There is more on the word “dog” towards the end of this article.

King Charles

I have never met King Charles and probably never will.  As a young man he was surrounded by foolish environmentalists such as Jonathon Porritt (now Sir Jonathon Espie Porritt, 2nd Baronet, CBE), and of course, Sir Richard Attenborough.  “Save the planet” has been part of Charles’ existence for many years.  He was deceived as a youngster and he is deceived now.  Becoming king will have changed nothing of any of his belief systems.  He kept his word and didn’t attend COP27; instead, he brought COP27 to Buckingham Palace – about two-hundred guests were invited to the event.  Charles is an advocate of Net-Zero, a concept that will lead to chaos, suffering, death, and destruction if it is carried through.  Charles is sincere in his beliefs, but he is sincerely wrong.  Climate change will not end this world, and man will not save the world.  Had Charles been taught the Bible rather than religion, he would know this.  The world and the future are in the hands of the one that created it.  King Charles will follow his own belief system concerning religion.  The Church of England and its Archbishop are in a state of apostacy and will not challenge the king’s stance on anything.  How can a church, where anything goes, possibly challenge anything but the truth of Scripture?  The apostate state of king and country has not gone unnoticed in heaven.  The Dean of Britain’s most prestigious university, Cambridge claims Jesus is transgender.[ii] Christianity in England and Wales has reportedly fallen below 50% for the first time;[iii] while Satanism and devil worship is on the rise.[iv]  Even our law courts declare that the Bible is no longer appropriate.[v]  Lawyers representing the Crown Prosecution Service have made this dangerous and unholy claim.  There are two words in particular that have remained with me, both from godly men, who are now with the Lord.  The first was that spoken by David Pawson where he said that the Lord had told him that Islam will be allowed to become the predominant influence in the UK.[vi]  The second was a word by Lance Lambert in 2011[vii].  I won’t include either of them here but you can read both at the appropriate links below.  The cult pursuing Net-Zero could lead us all to such a situation as that described in the word Lance Lambert shared.

Error of our ways – Living in Denial

Before concluding, we will take a brief look at an error that changed the face of the Church for centuries.  We travel back in time to between the 3rd and 4th Century AD.  This is when the Church made serious moves to distance itself from the Jewish culture, life, and era in which Jesus lived, first-century Israel.  Among other things, this resulted in schism and mistranslation of words, which in turn resulted in the Church splitting into many and various denominations.  The Jewish context of the Bible, and the fact that Jesus’ mindset and culture was that of first-century Jewish Israel was wilfully forgotten, and turning to Jewish writings and understanding was anathema.  Greek and Roman historical and cultural backgrounds were taught in universities, bible colleges, and seminaries, but the central, most important culture was largely ignored.  Christians would turn to various sources and philosophers while ignoring the rich Jewish culture that Jesus lived and breathed in.  There continues to be misunderstanding and ignorance because we have not altogether understood God, we have not understood God’s Word, and we have not understood God’s purposes.

To quote from a Jewish source while referring back again to the earlier mentioned word “dog”, we can see that the Jewish mindset is a biblical mindset.  Some rabbinic writings claim that Elijah will return before the Messiah comes, and there will also be a seven-year period of tribulation.  This particular period will be characterized by torrential rainfall, terrible famines, thunderstorms, and wars.  Resh Lakish (Simeon Ben Lakish commonly known as Resh Lakish – 200AD to 275AD) says: “In the generation in which the scion of David will come, the meeting house shall be a bawdy house and Galilee shall be laid waste and Gabalina shall be desolate and the men of Galilee shall go about from town to town and find no pity and the wisdom of the scribes shall become putrid and the God-fearing and pious shall cease and truth shall be abandoned and the generation will be brazen-faced like a dog.”[viii]  “Brazen-faced like a dog” means lacking wisdom and truth.  It will be a generation which is full of “impudence;” and they will be oppressed by “cruel decrees.”  As we are seeing somewhat today, “the young will insult the elders and the old will rise before the young, and a son will feel no shame before his father.”  Poverty and scarcity will be widespread and the government “will be converted to minuth [heresy] and there will be no reproof.”  And when one after the other generation is found cursing and blaspheming God, then the Messiah will arrive.  Hershel Shanks writes:  The year when the King Messiah will be revealed, all the nations of the world will be a strife with one another.  The King of Persia will arouse the King of Arabia.  And the King of Arabia will again lay the whole world waste.  And all the nations of the world will clamour and be frightened … and Israel will clamour and be frightened and say ‘to where shall we go and to where shall we turn.’[ix]  And He says to them: My sons, do not fear … the time of your redemption has arrived.’  These teaching are not disimilar to some found in the New Testament letters, and they are descriptive of the way the world is heading today.  During my life-time and in an age when blasphemy against God is on the increase, there has been an increase of those in the Church that have recognised the error of rejecting the Jews, and of rejecting the Jewish Jesus.  While many in the Church are going into apostacy, others are rejoicing in the truth revealed, and the light shining on God’s Word; while also learning to study Scripture from a Messianic Jewish perspective.

“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come…” (2 Timothy 3:1-13 KJV)
