The Steve Maltz Crowdfunder

Firstly, a big thank you for those who helped finance my book, Jesus: Life and Times, last year. I think you would agree that it turned out OK. It was a big ask, financially, but we got there and now we have Malcolm Down Publishing distributing it here and in the USA.

This year I have three books out and I am looking for crowdfunding for two of them. We are looking for 60 crowdfunders who can pay £100 each. This will enable me to print and distribute both books and help towards the vast book storage bill we get annually. The third book – Butterflies over Whitehall (a comedy thriller) – will be self-financed.

All crowdfunders will get 5 copies of Icebreaker (£10 rrp) and 10 copies of Awake! (£5 rrp). They will also get a copy of Butterflies over Whitehall, which is evangelistic and relevant – said to be a cross between ‘This Present Darkness’ and ‘Hitchhiker’s guide to the Galaxy’. The crowdfunded books will be available late Winter / early Spring and ‘Butterflies’ will be available this autumn.

This may seem a cliché but I believe these two books are my most important yet as they speak into the issues around our current western culture and provide possible solutions to both understand and deal with it.

ICEBREAKER – Preparing the Way … again!

This is a full analysis of the woke culture that is stifling us with a clear strategy – born from the Hebraic mindset – to deal with it. An icebreaker ‘prepares the way’ for ocean liners by smashing up the ice blocks that would otherwise sink the ships. In the same way we need ‘icebreakers’ to disrupt and dent the woke mindset and clear the way for our evangelists and preachers to do their stuff effectively. This book speaks of the need for such icebreakers, but it is not the icebreaker itself, instead …

AWAKE! – Finding purpose

This is the icebreaker. This small book is one that you should be able to give to anyone, especially those caught up in the woke nonsense or curious about it. Without any religious language or cliches and also without any mention of the gospel itself, it will leave the reader with a clear impression that the gospel is the only hope for mankind! It is hoped, eventually, that this book may find a home with a traditional secular publisher for maximum distribution. Much prayer needed here!
