Battling to be generous in a cost of living crisis
With fuel costs set to rise steeply next month, fear and anxiety abounds. The world’s mantra is “save, store up, look after number one”. But how are we, as followers of Jesus Christ, to respond? Do we conform our minds to the world’s thinking or let them be transformed by the power of the gospel? How can we sow abundantly and accurately represent an extravagant God during a cost of living crisis? Is there an opportunity to shine like stars for the sake of the gospel? The battle is on between fear and faith. When the battle is over, on which side will we be found?
