Potential!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\nLUKE 2:21-38<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nCan you imagine being told that you wouldn\u2019t die until you have met a certain person? Simeon, a man of holy pedigree, figured that he\u2019d hedge his bets by lurking in the Jerusalem Temple itself, the most likely place to witness the coming of the Messiah, even if the \u2018promised one\u2019 was still a baby-in-arms. And then, to cradle this Saviour-to-be in your own arms! What a privilege, what a joy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now imagine yourself cradling a baby, any baby, in your own arms. Every baby has a huge potential, as their life-years unwrap. You, too, have been given a privilege. We must pray for these young ones as they lay in their innocence.
