How to avoid the world\u2019s agenda? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n (This series of articles was written a year after the first lockdown in March\/April 2021)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Previous articles are still available on the Premier Christian radio website – https:\/\/www.premierchristianradio.com\/Blogs2\/Yeshua-Explored \u00a0– (until they finally pull the plug!)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n One thing the Church most definitely should not <\/em>be doing is pandering to the world\u2019s agenda. This is ever-changing and a complete distraction, but still the Church gets sucked in. The latest nonsense is the \u2018woke agenda\u2019, this Marxist-inspired desire for uniformity in behaviour and attitude, leading to the \u2018cancel culture\u2019 of excluding those who haven\u2019t bought into this and are therefore \u2018enemies of society\u2019. A recent episode in the \u2018Christian\u2019 world concerned a well-known Christian commentator being \u2018cancelled\u2019 by a large Christian media group as a result of writing an article that could be construed by \u2018woke\u2019 people as racist (but totally innocuous to the rest of us). If you are interested, I chart the whole history of this \u2018infiltration\u2019 in my book, Into the Lion\u2019s Den<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The latter group<\/em> \u2013 you and I \u2013 are the future of the Church, I believe. We need to take the initiative and the virtual world that has opened up through Flockdown is the key. We have potentially bypassed the malign gatekeepers<\/em>, those who have locked down the Christian experience so that they could mould it in their image, rather than the benign gatekeepers who still treat us as a flock to be cared for and served. We have discovered a new world beyond the walls of church, both bricks and mortar and the unseen walls of spiritual control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Let\u2019s start again and return to the moment of your conversion, the moment God\u2019s Spirit touched yours and the gates of the Kingdom opened for you. What next?
